Mines of Spain: 10.59 miles
Not much to report on this week. 10.59 miles was actually more than I was planning on running this week. For the first time ever I tried taking a full week off of running on my own terms and not because I was injured. I wanted to take the week off to go into my 10 week training cycle renewed both mentally and physically but as the weekend rolled around and some crazy nice weather I just couldn't resist a few miles. Oh well.. I don't see 10.59 miles this week doing too much harm.
Tomorrow's run will be a 10 miler. 3 miles in I'm doing 8 sets of 20 second sprints with a 10 second recovery. Let the training begin!

DeleteThings have been feeling kind of off. Not terrible by any means but not great either. Not how I'd ideally like to start a training cycle. I tend to notice more of my aches and pains after my run and not while running which makes taking time off or cutting back harder. I need to remember that my main goal is KM though and I have more than enough time to get ready. I'm glad to hear that things with your calf are healing up and that the streak lives.
